Welcome to the Disclaimer page for Cosplay, a website dedicated to celebrating and supporting the global cosplay community. By accessing or using this website — including but not limited to its articles, tutorials, community forums, character galleries, and downloadable resources — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below. This Disclaimer is effective as of August 23, 2026, and supersedes all prior versions.
Accuracy and Reliability of Content
The content published on Cosplay — including guides, costume construction tips, material recommendations, prop-making techniques, and event listings — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. While we strive to ensure accuracy and timeliness, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or suitability of any information for your specific cosplay project, safety requirements, or legal compliance. Always verify instructions, material safety data, and local regulations before beginning any build or public appearance.
No Professional Advice
Nothing on this website constitutes professional advice — including but not limited to legal, medical, safety, engineering, or financial counsel. Cosplay activities may involve tools, adhesives, paints, fabrics, electronics, or physical performance that carry inherent risks. You are solely responsible for assessing and mitigating those risks. We expressly disclaim liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information found on Cosplay.
User-Generated Content
Some sections of the site — such as community galleries, comment threads, and forum posts — contain content submitted by users. Such content reflects the views and experiences of individual contributors and does not represent the official stance or endorsement of Cosplay. We moderate submissions in accordance with our Community Guidelines, but we do not pre-screen or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of all user contributions.
Intellectual Property and Attribution
All original written content, photographs, illustrations, and design elements published on Cosplay are the property of Northre ID or its licensed contributors, unless otherwise noted. You may share or reference our content for non-commercial, educational, or personal cosplay use, provided you include clear attribution (e.g., “Source: Cosplay.northre.id“) and link back to the original page. Commercial reuse, redistribution, or derivative works require prior written permission. Note that character designs, logos, and trademarks depicted in cosplay photos remain the intellectual property of their respective owners — Cosplay does not claim rights to or endorse any third-party intellectual property.
External Links and Third-Party Resources
This website may contain links to external sites, retailers, tutorials, or social media platforms not operated by Cosplay. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such third-party sites. Your interactions with them are governed solely by their own terms. We encourage you to review the privacy and terms policies of any external site before providing personal information or making purchases.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cosplay and its operators (Northre ID) expressly disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use this website or its content. Your use of Cosplay is at your sole risk.
